The next award winning Rodeo Woman is Monica Wilson. Into the Cowboy Hall of Fame!! I stopped by Cardston for a visit and a casual snapshot of her with her latest accomplishment. And a couple of jars of apple sauce, fresh made from her tree>

On my way back to the east, I stopped by my sister’s near Waterton Park. Got to ride out with my good friend Jenika from the Alpine Stables in the park.

First came Trish Jones, one of the rodeo women who has worked behind the scenes forever, it sometimes seems. A “Legend of Rodeo” trophy buckle from the committee. A fabulous recognition of her recent work with the Czar Lake Bullarama and all of what she had done.

Finally, back at my desk. The next several months begin the post-production process for real. No promises how long this will take–just as long as it takes!! It was a great final shoot in BC in June-July. Then came some weeks of the cabin in the bush near Kamloops. What an amazing summer. Check out

July 1 was a great day at the rodeo. From start to finish this one was a family affair.
