So sad to hear of the loss of this amazing rodeo woman. The daughter of Dave Perry of Perry and Hook Rodeo outfit, she knew what it was to work as a rodeo girl and then woman. She was also an amazing teacher education student in UBC’s NITEP program when I was coordinator. She became a stellar teacher. Two of her sisters Joyce Smith and Barbara Stewart were interviewed for the film.
